Coaching with Objective Swing Data
SWINGGO helps coaches turn swing mechanics into clearer conversations, measurable patterns, and more focused student improvement.
Built to Support Coaching, Not Replace It
Coaching is built on observation, feedback, and trust. SWINGGO does not replace that. It supports it.
By providing objective swing mechanics data, SWINGGO helps coaches show students what is happening in the swing and what to work on next.
The Five Diagnostic Blocks
SWINGGO organizes swing mechanics around five diagnostic areas. Each one gives coaches a clear window into a different part of the student’s swing.
Path
How the club moves through space. Is the path consistent? Is it on plane?
Face
Club face orientation relative to the path. Is the face rotating properly?
Tempo
The rhythm and timing of the swing. Is the student consistent from swing to swing?
Release
When and how the student releases the club through impact.
Body
Body stability and sway tendency estimated from shaft-and-wrist sensor data.
Confidence Scores
SWINGGO provides confidence scores for advanced metrics. These scores tell coaches how reliable each measurement is based on signal quality, swing type, and data completeness.
A high confidence score means the metric is reliable. A lower score means the metric should be interpreted with caution or supported with additional context.
A Typical Coaching Workflow
Capture the swing
The shaft sensor captures club motion. The smartwatch captures wrist and hand dynamics. The app fuses both signals.
Review the diagnostic blocks
Path, Face, Tempo, Release, and Body give the coach a structured view of what happened.
Identify the priority
Instead of overwhelming the student, SWINGGO helps focus the conversation on the clearest movement pattern.
Track progress over time
Coaches can review whether the student’s movement patterns are changing across sessions.
Connect mechanics to outcomes
Use SWINGGO for swing mechanics and a launch monitor for ball-flight outcomes. Together, they create a stronger coaching picture.
Clearer Student Conversations
SWINGGO helps coaches make feedback more visible.
Instead of only saying “your tempo is inconsistent,” the coach can show the pattern. Instead of only saying “your body is moving too much,” the coach can point to Body Stability and Sway Tendency estimates.
The data supports the conversation. The coach still leads the interpretation.
Complementary to Video and Observation
Video shows the swing visually. SWINGGO shows swing mechanics through sensor data. Coaching expertise connects both.
SWINGGO is designed to complement video analysis, launch monitors, and professional instruction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does SWINGGO replace coaching?
No. SWINGGO is designed to support coaching conversations with objective data. It complements coaching expertise, video analysis, and professional instruction.
Can coaches use SWINGGO with multiple students?
SWINGGO is currently in prototype development. Details about multi-student workflows will be available as the system develops.
How should coaches explain confidence scores?
Confidence scores indicate reliability. A high score means the metric is reliable. A lower score means the metric should be interpreted with caution or supported with additional context.
Does SWINGGO work with launch monitors?
Yes. SWINGGO measures swing mechanics. A launch monitor measures ball-flight outcomes. They complement each other.
What if a student does not have a smartwatch?
SWINGGO is designed around a shaft sensor and smartwatch combination. Device compatibility details will be available as the system develops.
Is SWINGGO in final release?
No. SWINGGO is currently in prototype development. Early access applications are open for coaches, golfers, and investors.
